Description
Some of our own need a helping hand right now. If you have ever been to Highroller or Low Stakes, you’ve likely enjoyed something Andy’s Mom, Jacky, has made. She’s been our resident baker since Highroller opened its doors making whoopie pies fresh every single day, layer cakes and cookie skillets at Low Stakes, and even waits tables at the Lodge. Andy’s Dad is our early morning receivables guy and janitor and “handy man” (not very handy to be honest) but always ready with a joke or two for the opening staff.
A few days ago, an electrical fire broke out in the basement of their home which quickly filled with thick black smoke. The fire tore through water lines in the basement, and between the firefighters saving the house and the smoke, much of the house underwent extensive damage. Most of their belongings are being chocked up as a total loss, including the house itself.
Thankfully everyone in the family made it out safely, but starting over is nothing anyone should have to do, and it couldn’t have happened to harder working people.
Thank you to everyone for reaching out, sharing, and contributing❤️
